WEAK IMMUNE SYSTEM?
Our immune system should be as strong at age 100 it is at age 10. How do we know if our immune system is weak? The immune system is the defense system in our bodies that fights off sickness and disease. Did you ever notice that after you eat a lot of white sugar, many times you end up with a sore throat and then a cold, or even the flu? It only takes about 30 teaspoons of sugar to shut down our immune system for a day, thus making us vulnerable to anything (sickness) that comes down the road. By the way, 30 teaspoons of sugar is found in only three cans of soda. As our immune systems continue to break down because of our diet and lifestyle, more and more serious diseases come down the road until the big ones like cancer and heart disease come on the scene. All is not lost however. Our immune systems can be rebuilt. We need to put into our bodies live foods that our bodies use to rebuild. The best builders are raw vegetables and raw vegetable juices, especially greens. A good raw juice health restorer is 75% carrot, and 25% dark green lettuce, celery, cucumber, and red beet.
